Meditation & Mindfulness Groups
The Meditation & Mindfulness Groups run approx 50 weeks of the year, they are designed for both beginners and advanced to be able to just drop in without booking.
The Bibrook Group runs every Thursday from The Holy Cross Church Hall, Bilbrook, WV8 "1EU, (behind the Woodman Pub) from 7.30pm to 8.30pm. Min Rec Donation £5.
The Codsall Group Every Friday at Codsall Library, WV8 1PX, from 3.00pm to 4.00pm. Minimum recommended donation £5.
The Brewood Group runs every Thursday from 11 am to 12 noon from Brewood Library, ST19 9DP, Minimum recommended donation £5.
As an entrance fee, I ask for a minimum donation of £5. The average payment I receive is £6, however, it is very important to me that you feel free to pay whatever feels right for you. It is an honesty box collection system, as you come in simply drop your chosen payment into the box and take your own change (change always available).
Importantly the rooms are warm and the seating is comfortable, feel free to bring water and cushion, and/or a Yoga mat. The first 10 minutes of each week is set aside for an exploration of meditation and mindfulness, both for the benefit of first-time meditators and also to allow time for any latecomers to arrive without feeling like they are walking in on a meditation.
This is followed by three very gentle and easy 15 minute guided meditations. The first always being "The Stillness Meditation”, designed to teach meditation practice and the second, a Mindfulness Meditation to develop insight and positivity. Some groups are divided into three 15 minute meditations.
